Description
Our works included the Cat A and Cat B mechanical installation of 283,000 sq. ft. over thirteen floors within the newly constructed BCO award-winning building, delivering a high-performance mechanical services package designed to enhance comfort, flexibility, and reliability. The works included comfort cooling and heating, ventilation, domestic water and drainage, BMS integration, Sprinkler and specialist comms room support systems.

3 Snow Hill is a prestigious address in the heart of Birmingham’s central business district.
Heating, ventilation, cooling and plumbing systems were installed across 17 floors of this large office, award-winning (BCO Best Commercial Workplace 2022), landmark building.
This entailed large capital plant being lifted by helicopter on to the 18th floor – the first helicopter lift in Birmingham’s history.
Full-height glazing throughout the building means occupants enjoy stunning vistas over the Birmingham skyline, flooded with natural light but also mean that solar gain has to be carefully considered in the design of the heating and cooling systems.
