Sustainability

TES Mech’s commitment to sustainability (HSE):
Most of the operational carbon footprint of a building is determined by its heating and water management. Considering that – and growing pressures on the world’s resources – is why we take our responsibilities towards the environment, seriously.
We’re determined to be part of the solution, to make our environment more resilient.
The systems we design today, will probably still be in place in [10/20 years’] time. That’s why it’s key we optimise every element of those systems – for the sake of both the occupants and the environment – right now and as best as we can anticipate, into the future too.
We do this by:
- Easing the carbon load of a building by working with the building envelope team to ensure minimal heat loss, highest energy efficiency
- Minimising waste to landfill
- Designing systems so that they can be reconfigured, repurposed or recycled at the end of the system’s life.
By partnering with TES Mech, you’re committing to ‘do your bit’ in the built environment to:
- COMMIT TO NET ZERO – we are committed to minimising the environmental impact of your, and every other client’s, building. We are aiming for net zero for both our operations and build by [insert date]. It starts with how we design systems and ends with us helping end-users minimise the carbon footprint of their building’s operation.
- SAFETY – working to the most stringent standards of health and safety with everyone: clients, colleagues, supply chain, stakeholders and society at large.
- QUALITY – the cornerstone of our success.
- RESPONSIBLE – procurement of labour, as well as the products and materials used in your design.
- POSITIVE – we aim to contribute positively to society on your behalf with our corporate social responsibility programme eg schools career advice and apprenticeships.
